In the beginning, the company was dedicated to developing, manufacturing, importing, exporting, and distributing licensed toys for children.
Today, the company offers licensed products for every member of the family – and their pets!
Sandra Filopoulos is the face of the company. In fact, Filo Import is named after her. She is an accomplished businesswoman who is committed to creating and maintaining genuine human relationships.
Sandra cares deeply about making a real difference. Thanks to her unfailing sense of altruism, she’s made sure philanthropy remains at the core of her actions and the company’s operations.
She brings to the company corporate experience in the medical field, acquired in part by her time as a nurse, and a sense of humanity. Her spouse and business partner, Thierry Serruya, brings 30 years of experience in the fields of importing and exporting goods. Together, they’ve made Filo Import one of the province’s leading import/export companies.
The company is constantly adapting to ever-changing markets to meet the specific needs of its clients and partners.
Filo Import’s philanthropic mission
Our business is the result of our profound desire to give back to the hospital that saved the life of our son. We care deeply about our philanthropic mission to support pediatric care.
Our son was only seven days old when he underwent open-heart surgery. It was an event that led us to reflect on the importance of life, health, and caring for one another.
This experience led us to launch Filo Import, a company whose initial mission was to provide toys for children. The business then expanded its offer and now manufactures and distributes items for the whole family. Our main mission is to positively contribute to the well-being of families here and abroad.
